So I went to playgroup and the girl hosting it gave everyone a starter kit to make Friendship bread. This is a bread that can only be started by the Amish, so it is real special. Here are the rules, you take the bag and each day (for 10 days) you have to do what the directions say for the day.
So for example day 1 all I had to do was mash the batter mix. It isn't to high maintenance, you just can't forget to do the direction for each day. Today was day 10, time to make the bread. I started at 2:30 and I just barely took the last loaf out of the oven at 9:10. The bread is good, but I am not so sure it should be called friendship bread. Do you really give your friends something that has to be done daily, then takes 6 hours to make? I am going to have to do some re-evaluating to see if my friend is really a friend or if she is out to get me:)

Thanksgiving
This year was a quiet Thanksgiving. We got together with our friends Abby, Jeff and Max. When I moved to Buffalo and meet Abby, I was totally like, she and I are living the same life. We both married a Taylorsville Warrior, have a son in nursery and are expecting a baby girl the same week. I later also learned we were both born on Halloween, I am 2 years older, but how crazy is that? It was a quiet but very fun Thanksgiving. The food was great and the company was great.
Abby and I are modeling our beautiful bellies. In only a couple weeks those bellies are going to be a lot flatter.
This was our first time ever cooking a turkey, and Anthony did an excellent job. Here he is carving the turkey. I have heard nothing but horror stories of peoples first time cooking a turkey, so I was very nervous. Our turkey turned out great thanks to Anthony's killer cooking skills.
Here is Parker and his friend Max. They spent the whole night running around, so it was a little hard to get a picture of them holding still. This is the best we could do.

Saturday Mornings
This is how Antonio' and Parker like to spend their Saturday morning. Growing up Anthony's dad always made breakfast on Saturday mornings, and it is a tradition Anthony wanted to keep. So every Saturday morning Parker and Anthony make waffles together.Once all the batter is mixed Parker watches the waffle iron and tells his dad when the light goes off. As Anthony takes out the waffles Parker likes to grab one and just stands there eating waffle after waffle, telling dad when more are ready. It is very cute.
Parker has usually eaten so many waffles by the time all the batter is cooked, that he is full. My favorite part about it is they get some bonding time while I get to sleep in.

1 Month

Great news, I only have one more month left until McKenzie is going to make her appearance. I thought I would take a picture of my belly now and see how much bigger I get in the next month. Hopefully if my belly gets any bigger it is because of McKenzie and not the delicious Thanksgiving Dinner I plan to be eating. Just encase any of you are curious how big the belly really is, the next time you are just hanging out in the bathroom with nothing to do roll out 10 squares of toilet paper and wrap it around your belly, that is how big I am.

My day tough day

If Parker had things his way he would spend his whole day outside riding his bike. So I thought I would post a picture showing you how Parker and I spend most our days. We get all bundled up then I go sit in my camping chair and read a book while Parker rides his bike hour on end. Every time I bundle him up he reminds me of that boy on The Christmas Story, except for the fact that his tongue isn't stuck to a poll.

My birthday
I turned 27, and am still feeln' good as new. For my birthday I got unlimited refills of Red Robin's strawberry lemonade (I have never tasted a strawberry lemonade better than Red Robin's), and a shopping trip with my husband. Anthony took me on the perfect date, of course I told him what we were going to do, he just did everything I asked like a good husband would. He went shopping with me and let me go into whatever store I wanted and look at whatever I wanted for however long I wanted. It was like a dream come true, he never once asked me if I was done or if we could leave. What a great husband I have.

Halloween
Here is Anthony carving his pumpkin. You might notice his fang teeth have grown since you last saw him. He had to make some fake teeth for one of his school assignments. What better time to show them off than Halloween.
Parker was so excited to carve pumpkins. He had a blast for about 20 minutes then we had to put him to bed because he was to grumpy. The pumpkins turned out great.

Here are the costumes. Parker was Officer Moeller. He loved the handcuffs the best. I was a inmate staying in the maternity ward. Anthony looking great in his hippy outfit and afro. He has been growing out his hair for the past 2 months to get it that long.
