Love the honesty

Parker is too honest sometimes:

Dad: "Parker you need to put that toy away and get in bed"
Parker: "okay dad, I am just going to put this toy away and get in bed, then when you leave I am going to get out of my bed and play with it again"

Mom: "You didn't eat dinner so you don't get a snack while you are at the YMCA tonight"
Parker: "I am just going to wait until you leave then I am going to ask the lady if I can have a snack"

Parker says this as he touches my belly: "Mom why is your belly big like when you had Kaitlynn in your belly? Do you have another baby in your belly"

This comment was said just a couple days ago, don't worry I am okay with it. I like to think my belly shows character it is proof to me that I am a mother of 3 and have a love for chocolate chip cookie dough.

Friends

Now that Kaitlynn moves and tries to talk the kids like to include her in their play. Seeing all 3 kids laughing and playing together is priceless.

Sunday

My favorite part about Sunday is dressing up Kaitlynn. No negotiations, no tantrums all she does is smile at me in approval with each accessory that is added.

Cute Combo

Parker has 3 friends he plays with on a regular basis:
Ella: the most girly girl ever, loves pink and princesses
Weston: a boy through and through when him and Parker get together they wrestle and shoot everyone as they play "bad man."
Ciella: the perfect mixture, when Parker and her get together she always agrees to play "bad man" but she gets to pick the outfit (as you can see in the picture they are both wearing high heels).

Valentines box

This year Parker had a Valentine's swap at his preschool and Kenzie got to attend. Anthony and I had fun reliving our childhood years as we helped make their Valentine's boxes. Kenzie had a princess box, it had a princess crown on it with a spot on the crown cut out for the Valentine's to go in. Parker had a dinosaur box. He had fun having his dinosaur eat all the Valentines.

An update

Here is what we have been up to:
Anthony: still just drilln' and filln' at the dental school
Kristie: I recently got my hair cut and colored in an attempt to look younger, and (thanks to my friend Denyse) can make cute necklaces for the girls.
Kenzie: got an attitude. Almost every time I direct a comment her way it is quickly responded with "NNNNNO". She is cute but a lot of trouble, here she is fashioning her new necklace.
Parker is growing so quickly I think he grows taller every day. He loves his letters and likes helping around the house.
Katilynn: likes eating real food, but better enjoys painting her body with the food. She spends her day backing herself into things and getting stuck.

Cookies

Last night I made 6 dozen chocolate chip cookies. The kids "helped" there idea of helping was to eat a whole bag of chocolate chips. They are so lucky, today the both still fit in their skinny jeans.

McKenzie's ABC's

Kenzie is so cute to listen to when she says her ABC's. She gets quite a few of the letters right, and misses quite a few of the letters. The one part she is consistent with is the ending, instead of ending with X,Y,Z she ends it with X,Y,M,C,A(she goes to the YMCA almost every day and loves it so much she decided to change the alphabet to focus on it).

Thanks Melanie for this cute picture of Kenzie

6 Months

Our little Kaitlynn is 6 Months old and keeps her reputation as the worlds best baby.
She weighs 16lbs
Sleeps 12 hours at night
Loves to eat her toes
Babbles/Rambles as she rolls all over the floor finding things to put in her mouth.
Sits with assistance
Has little dimple in left cheek
Always sticking her tongue out (she reminds me of a lizard).
Has nothing but smiles and giggles for everyone
Can fall asleep anywhere, if we aren't home during nap time she will fall asleep while being held or in her car seat with out even a fuss.
She is such a joy

Thanks Melanie for the cute picture of Kaitlynn
