Aaron 3 Months

Could you be any more adorable?  Aaron, you are like a new baby.  You are happy and smile all the time.  You used to always be in pain with your reflux and lactose intolerance, so you were a screamer.  With your medicine and your moms lactose free diet you have showed us your happy sweet side.  You love to be held.  You can focus on objects.  You have a 6th sense.  You can tell when I enter the room.  If you are crying and I walk in the room you stop crying, and do something that is hard to describe, it is obvious you know the help you were seeking is coming.  You are partial to your binky, you much prefer to suck on your hands.  Your dark hair is slowly starting to fall out, it breaks my heart.  I love that you had your dad's dark brown hair when you were born.  He is a good man and I enjoyed being reminded of him every time I held you.  You like me mostly for my milk, you are a much better baby when anyone besides me holds you.  You now sleep in a pack'n'play in the laundry room.  You love your swing and being wrapped up super tight in your blanket to sleep.

Mason is 3

This adorable boy turned 3 today.
He requested a chocolate chip cookie cake:
Mason, you are a boy through and through.  I feel like you never stop moving and turn everything you touch into a weapon.  You can pedal a bike, pump a swing, and talk nonstop.  My favorite things you say are :
"That tastes delicious,"
"WHO'S THERE" (You yell this at the top of your lungs everytime the doorbell rings)
"What did you say?"

You are as stubborn as a mule.  If you don't like something you will hit, or yell, until someone backs down or you end up in time out.
Some days I wish you had a mute button.  This is a normal conversation we have during sacrament meeting:
Mason:  "Is it time for class?"(Spoken very loudly)
Kristie:  "Not yet."(whispered)
Mason:  "What did you say? Mom, say it louder." (Spoken even louder)
Kristie:  "Shhh"
Mason:  "What did you say?"  (Smiling, cause he knows it drives me crazy)
You drive me crazy and melt my heart everyday.  I wouldn't change one thing about you.

Crazy Kate

Kate tells me "Mom, I got the hook-ups."  Wondering who was nice enough to hook this girl up, I ask a couple questions.  Turns out she has the hiccups, not the hook-ups  She makes me laugh everyday:

Everyday this girls' socks don't match.  I have learned to accept it as Kate.  To be honest if they did match, it wouldn't fit her personality:

Veteran's Day Parade

The kids school had a great ceremony to celebrate Veterans.  A man spoke who was a P.O.W. for more than a year.  He spoke of his experience, and told the kids the best way they can honor Veterans is to be a good citizen.  I am so grateful for all those who served in the military and for this wonderful country I live in.  After the ceremony the kids all got to walk in a parade.
