Sour Cream

Kenzie loves to eat sour cream. She likes to dip everything in it. When I leave the table she stops using it as a dip and turns it into her main course and just eats it by the spoonful.

YMCA

Yesterday we took the kids to a party at the YMCA. The purpose was to teach kids that being active and eating healthy is fun. Have I mentioned how much I love the YMCA:)

The kids loved all the activities.

Parker's favorite part was eating the carrots, he ate 5 cups of them.Kenzie's favorite part was the bounce house.

McKenzie feels so comfortable with our Prophet she is on a first name bases with him. Whenever she sees a picture of Thomas S. Monson she always says "look, it's Thomas S."

Batman

These past couple days have been batman filled due to all the batman presents Parker received. I guess all the batman stuff has really sunk in because Parker now sleeps upside down in his bed. Why you ask, because that is how a bat sleeps.P.S. In case you are wondering Anthony finally made it home late Tuesday night.

More Birthday

Monday night we celebrated Parker and Anthony's birthday together. We had a fun time, the cake was amazing(made by Jessee), the friends were great. Only one thing was missing: Anthony. Turns out the Dominican Republic had a hard time letting him leave. 2 days late and many flight changes later Anthony is finally in the United States. Cross your fingers and say a prayer or 2 for him that they will stop canceling/changing/delaying his flights and let him be here in time for school tomorrow.

My mom

It is so nice to know that even though my mom lives 2000 miles away when I need her she will always be there to help.

Anthony has been on a BOCA trip(free dental care in the Dominican Republic) for 8 days, and is on his way home now. Me and the kids are all still alive and still like each other, but oooh I am so glad I had my mom here for a couple days to help me. Thanks mom.

4 years old

How did this handsome boy spend the day celebrating being 4?

He started with Batman cupcakes from his preschool teacher (aka Jessee his best friends mom)

Watching a new train movie he got from his best friend Weston

Chicken nuggets, fries and chocolate milk for dinner

Blue ice cream with gummy bears in it (compliments of Coldstone)

Fashioning his new Batman costume which was custom fit by Grandma Debbie who flew all the way out here to make it.

Happy Birthday Parker

It was fun to watch him realize today was his day and he could get pretty much whatever he wanted. Multiple times throughout the day he would tell me "Mom, I want to have that for my birthday." Most requests were granted but I had to turn down some. The easiest request to turn down was when he saw a limo then told me "Mom, I want a limo for my birthday."

7 Months

Kaitlynn is now 7 months old and this is what I love about her:

she is willing to wear whatever bow I put on her head, no matter the size

She has recently discovered the world and is so interested in everything

She always has her tongue sticking out

She is always so calm and happy

she can't smile without sticking her tongue out

Very

Kenzie's new favorite word is very, today she tried to use it in almost every sentence. Here are my favorite examples:

Kenzie: Mom what are doing?
Mom: Cutting lettuce
Kenzie: I can't eat that, its very yucky.

Kenzie: Mom can you help me, its very stuck.

Kenzie says as she is shivering: Put my hat on, it's very cold.

Kenzie: I very tired, I need to go to sleep.

Kenzie yells to me from the bathroom:
Kenzie: The water is very hot.
Then I hear Parker say as he puts his hands under the water: No its not, it is cold.
Puts her hands in the water then yells "ooh it is very cold."
