A visit from family

Anthony's older sister and family came out for a visit.  The highlights of the trip were finding seashells (aka shelling if you are cool and do it often, right Krissie?)
 Fort Pickens:
Seeing the Blue Angels' planes.  Hopefully one day we will see them in flight not just on display:
 Canoeing:

Watching the sunset from the beach:
Drinking hot chocolate while the sun set:
Hanging out with 2 of the coolest people around:
Watching the kids eat with chop-stix:
 Bowling:
Annamarie was good at getting strikes:
I was good at getting gutter balls.  Thank you Anthony for capturing this moment, I never want to forget how I rocked those bowling lanes:

Mason's 2 year stats

At age 2 Mason is 34 inches tall and weighs 28 pounds.
He is a handsome, strong willed boy who I love to pieces.
He is a fighter, not a lover.  Get him mad and you are going to get hit/kicked.
The week he turned 2, he became a daddy's boy.  Up until now he has always liked mom best.
He is very social and loves to talk.
He says "Thank you" about 50 times a day.  He thanks me for putting him in his car seat, putting on his coat, changing his diaper, etc.  It is adorable
He calls me "Mom-Mom" & Kaitlynn "Kate-Kate"
If he doesn't like you, he will give you the crustiest crusty around.
He loves to laugh and is continually telling us "knock, knock" jokes
(of course he never gets the punch line right, but he loves trying)
His 2 favorite pastimes are playing outside, or with his train set.
He has no fear of heights and loves to climb.
He sleeps in a big bed and takes one nap a day.
Unless it is meal time, he can usually be caught eating.  All day long he sneaks snacks from every spot he can find.  When we sit for a meal he usually won't eat, but within minutes of getting down from the table he is caught sneaking snacks.  Drives me crazy.
These pictures capture him well.  He loves heights, the higher the faster the better:
Can pull out his puppy dog pout and crocodile tears in an instant:
His funny side:
His serious side
Loves Parker the best and asks me all day long where Parker is:

Mason's new discovery

Mason recently found out he can take his clothes off.  While trying to get his shirt off, the neck got stuck on his waist.  I walked in the room to find him playing like nothing was wrong:
Nothing wrong, except for a cold breeze in the back:

For my parents

The slide just got a little bit cooler.  Parker discovered he could ride the swing down the slide to get the speed he likes:
