Beach
Today me and the kids met some friends at the beach. While we were there Kenzie really outdid herself. One minute she was playing in the sand, then next minute I watched in horror as my child ran naked along the beach. Ooh if you could have seen the smile on her face though, she loved every second of that freedom.

Be honest
Does my head look larger now than it was the last time you saw me? Within the last week or 2, I have hit my head 3 times. Each time I hit it hard enough to bring tears to my eyes and a four letter word to my lips (just kidding about the 4 letter word, I am just trying to help you understand the pain I felt). After I hit my head last night, and received my 3rd goose egg I came to the conclusion that my head must be growing. It has to be, how could it be possible that while doing the same things I do everyday, I am now hitting my head on a somewhat regular basis?Monday, May 17, 2010

Crawls hand, knee, hand, knee (stopped doing the "worm" to get from place to place)

Absolutely loves being on her belly and gets hysterical when she has to be on her back for diaper changes.

All in one week
I could start a new blog all about Kenzie. She does so many things(some good, some bad), I could post something every day. Here is how she has kept me busy this past week:
She can be so sweet, when Kaitlynn was crying the other day I heard Kenzie say "don't cry Kaitlynn baby, I'm right here"
The other day I let her pick a movie and she picked Parker's favorite movie because she wanted him to watch it with her.
She is also so mischievous:
Yesterday she walked out of the bathroom telling me "mom look at this" showing me her fingers which were covered in poop. Parker pees standing up, why can't she poop standing up?
The next day she walked out of the bathroom asking for help because her hand was stuck. She found my wipes and got herself in a bit of a predicament trying to get them out of the container.

At the age of 2 she still puts almost anything in her mouth. Parker and McKenzie broke one of her necklaces while playing tug of war. A piece was missing so I told them to help me look for it, they just stared at me while I looked. I could tell they knew something I didn't know so I asked if they knew where the piece was. Parker says "Kenzie has it." I asked Kenzie if she had it, she said yes, then pulled it out of her mouth. What a stinker how long was she going to let me look before telling me it was in her mouth? She came to my room in the middle of the night wanting help to go to the bathroom. I had to laugh when I noticed that before coming to get me, she put her high heels on.

Parker
This handsome child has been potty trained for 2 years now. Although he has mastered everything (wipping, flush toilet, wash hands, do zipper and button) he still feels like he needs to yell "Mom I'm done" every time he has finished relieving himself. He keeps yelling "I'm done" until I respond and tell him to wipe, flush the toilet, wash your hands.I had a talk with Parker and told him he is old enough that he now needs no help from me in the bathroom, and if he tells me "I'm done" I am going to take away a toy.
Now I hear, yelled from the bathroom: "mom I'm, oops, mom I am not going to tell you I am done."

Mother's Day
Happy Mother's Day to everyone. Today has been a great day I have been spoiled rotten, and I have loved every minute of it. Anthony and I both typed our favorite memory of our moms:
My favorite memories of you is when you would sing me to sleep as a child. The song you would always sing is "My Heavenly Father Loves Me". I will never forget that song and I love to hear it. I love you mom.
My favorite memory with you is making fudge. I love that you did the hard part and I got to sit and eat the extra chocolate while I waited. I also love that we still make it almost every time we get together.

When they Grow Up
When Parker grows up he says he wants to be Batman. I think he is going to be an architect or engineer. He loves his Lego's, and spends hours designing and building things with them.
Kenzie wants to be a monster. I think she should design her own clothing line, she is so obsessed with clothes. All day she is adding accessories and changing things to make her outfit just right. Last night she tried socks with her flip flops, and she instantly knew those two things should never be worn together.
Kaitlynn can't tell me what she wants to be yet, but I think she is going to be a heart breaker. This girl is adorable.
