My brother is from the future

My older brother and his wonderful family moved to Australia a couple months ago. I got to talk to him the other night and it was so weird I was talking to him Friday night, but for him it was Saturday afternoon. It was fun to get to talk to him, but the whole time I wanted to ask him questions like: are there any stocks I should buy?(since he is a day ahead of me he could tell me what would happen before it happens and I could make millions quick), should Anthony go to school tomorrow (maybe a plane will crash into the dental school). I know he isn't really from the future, but really isn't he? The coolest thing is the uniforms kids will be wearing in the future.

Kaitlynn 4 months

Kaitlynn is now 4 months old.
Weight: 13lbs 11oz
Height: 24.75 inches
She is happy, healthy, rolling from side to side, likes to sit in Bumbo, sleeps 9 hours straight, smiles all the time and is the perfect baby.
Note to self: next time take pictures before going to the doctor and getting shots. She is normally nothing but smiles, not for this photo shoot.

Not exactly as planned

Today I had a fun, productive day planned for me and the kids. So far nothing has really gone as planned.

2:30 a.m. my day starts with Parker crying because he has thrown-up all over his bed.
3:00 a.m. more crying, more throw-up more dirty sheets
5:00 a.m. Kaitlynn ready for something to eat
7:30 everyone up for the day
10:00 2 men here to give me a new fridge (yesterday mine broke) I empty out everything from the fridge and freezer covering the counters in food.
10:30 start cleaning up the nastiness left from the old fridge and put everything back in its proper space but not finishing the job before having to leave and take the kids to the doctor. I left the house a disaster.
11:00 lucky for me my husband is amazing and was able to come home and stay with sick Parker while I take Kenzie and Kaitlylnn to the doctors for shots.
12:10 leave the doctor's office with 1 screaming girl in each arm (thinking to myself: today maybe would be a good day to start drinking:)
12:30 Come home to an immaculately clean house. All the food in the fridge, freezer and all the stuff put back on top, and on the fridge. Freshly vacuumed house (the trail of nasty under the fridge gunk that the nice fridge men left as a remembrance of the old non working fridge no longer present). Dirty sheets from the night before nicely folded and ready for me to put away.
Kitchen swept and mopped.

Now because of Anthony I can put the kids all down for there naps and go take a nap myself instead of spending the time cleaning the disaster. Oooh yeah while at the doctors Anthony also found time to de-fuzz one of my sweaters that very much needed it. Isn't he amazing:)

Ms. Independent

Kenzie was adamant she did not need help to get her pants on this morning. Here she is showing off her accomplishment:

Toronto

I don't think an appliance(wheat grinder) qualifies as a present, so this weekend I got my real b-day present. Me, Anthony and Kaitlynn took a road trip to Toronto.
We got to see tons of fun things.
We took a Trolley ride of the city and got to see everything, while staying warm.
Anthony and Kaitlynn in front of the C.N. Tower the second tallest man made structure in the world.
Thanks to Melanie who was so wonderful to watch my kids even though she was already watching Erica's two girls since Erica was in the hospital having a baby. Parker and McKenzie had so much fun we had to drag them from Melanie's house screaming and they didn't stop crying for 30 minutes.

My 29th year

I had a great birthday this past week. It started with breakfast in bed. The day was nearly perfect I didn't cook a meal, I got lots of calls, emails and presents, from everyone, I felt so loved.

You might think I am old, but I am still in my twenties and feeln' good.
While in my twenties I have:
Seen Bill Cosby, and Regis and Kelly live
Got a degree and worked as a nurse
Got married
Had 3 kids
Changed careers (from nurse to mom)
Changed at least 2 million diapers
Ran from a hurricane
Learned how to make everything there is to accessorize a girl (that is right I said everything, you name it I can make it: hair bow, bracelet, necklace, tutu, etc)
Been to NYC
Been in the White House
Saw Jack Dawson's grave(the guy in Titanic)
Peed in an airplane bathroom while 8 months pregnant with 2 kids in the bathroom with me
Learned to cook without a recipe

I have done a lot, and I still have one more year in my twenties. Stay tuned to see what other amazing things I accomplish while being so young.P.S. I got a wheat grinder for my b-day, can you tell how excited I am?
