San Antonio

Anthony had to go to San Antonio for 2 weeks to take a class. Parker was off from school for 1 of the weeks so we packed up the car and joined Anthony in Texas. It was the perfect Spring Break. Me and the kids slept in, played a little then meet Anthony for lunch, we picked Anthony up from his class each evening then headed off to do something fun. The hotel on base was so nice it was big enough to fit our family of 6 plus had a playground and picnic area just outside the door.

Texas was just like it was when we lived there 5 years ago. What hasn't changed:

Every 3rd vehicle on the road is a truck.
Texas flags everywhere.
Everything from flower beds to chips are made in the shape of Texas.
8 lane freeways.
Bluebonnets in full bloom.

Parker is 6

Parker turned 6. We had a small family party to celebrate.

For his birthday he spent the day doing his favorite things: playing at the beach, watching a movie at the theater & eating a happy meal from McDonald's.

This is the ugliest cake I have ever made but I was exhausted and had no energy to make something cool. Parker colored the frosting using food coloring and told me where to put each color. It looks hideous but he couldn't have been happier.

Visitors

Last weekend the Fox Family came to visit we had fun hanging out with them and the Davis'

The kids had so much fun together. I loved Luke's random comments and Xander's no fear of lizards/crabs you name it he held it.

Anthony's Birthday

On March 9th Anthony turned 32. To celebrate we had a killer party that was so amazing one of our friends from Dental school drove all they way from Tennessee to attend. Of course I forgot to get out the camera when everyone was here but I did get a shot of the kids with the presents they gave Anthony. Anthony is wearing a custom built b-day hat made by Parker.He got a pair of golf shoes for his b-day. And thanks to his parents and mine is planning a deep sea fishing trip as a present from them.

Twins

These 2 girls play hard and fight hard but overall they are best friends. Every morning they talk together about what they are going to wear, and try to match each other.

Every now and then someone will stop me to tell me how cute they are and ask if they are twins:

Busy

I am so glad last week is over. I survived 2 birthday's, a week of no sleep while I made mason cry it out, a fever of 102, babysitting, feeding friends dinner, enjoying friends who came for a visit. To top it off it was daylight savings (or should we say daylight losings) and did I mention I have 4 kids who make me feed, entertain and clean up after them regularly? I am going to bed and hope I never have to wake up tomorrow (unless there is a nice warm plate of bacon and eggs waiting for me).

Kenzie loves fashion. Every day she tries to pick what each person in the family should wear, from Mason to Anthony. Parker is the only one who doesn't get suggestions as what to wear:
