A little backwards

I warned you I am not a pro blogger yet so as you will notice I put these pictures on out of order. My road trip of New England starts with a picture of me holding Parks with the pretty trees in the background. So read the heading under that first, then you can look at all the pictures of where we went. This is a picture of me and Parker by a replica of the Mayflower.
Kristie, Parker, Angie and Maddie sitting as close as we can get to the Plymouth Rock.
Here it is in all its glory the Plymouth Rock. Just for the record I wouldn't recommend planning a trip to Massachusetts just to see the rock. It is a little longer than me, and looks just like a rock.
This is a picture of Parker's adopted grandparents. Brian's parents flew out from Utah for the trip. Parker loved them so much you would of thought he thought they were his grandparents. Every time we got out of the car he would run over to them, and gave them a huge hug. It is kind of funny Parker never caught on that I was following them in our car and it wasn't just a coincidence we always ended up in the same place.
A special thanks goes out to Angie and Brian who planned the whole trip. I came at the last minute, and the hotel room only had 2 beds so Brian slept on the floor every night so his pregnant sister in law didn't have to sleep on the floor. What a great guy.

Atlantic Ocean

On our road trip we went to the Atlantic Ocean, the water was freezing, but Parker loved playing with his cousins in the sand.
Maddie, Parker, and Ben loved playing in the water at one of the Children's Museum.
I got a little tired of driving all the time so I handed the wheel over to Parker.
In Boston we saw tons of famous peoples graves. This is a picture of John Hancock. We also saw Paul Revere's, Mother Goose, and Franklin Roosevelt's grave. I loved Boston, it was so fun to hear people's accents.

Here are the kids eating there night snack in the tub so the hotel didn't get covered in peach juice.

Road trip

Here is Joseph Smith's birth place. I thought it was kind of interesting it is marked with a park bench. They have a whole visiting center to tour, but the actual place where Joseph Smith's house was is marked with a bench.
Parker enjoying the free ice cream sample from Ben and Jerry's, after the tour.I didn't bring Parker's swim suit diaper, so his cousin Maddie let him borrow hers so Parker could swim in the hotel pool.
Parker and I went on a road trip with my sister and her family to see New England in the fall. The leaves were beautiful, I was glad we took the trip. Poor Anthony couldn't miss any of his classes so we left him here. I was surprised how well Parker did in the car, we drove a couple of hours a day. His favorite car toy was a ball on a rope. He found out if he threw it just right he could get me in the head, it was hilarious to listen to his victory laugh the times he actually hit me.One of our first stops was Springfield Massachusetts. This is where Dr. Seuss was born so and there is a little park dedicated to him. This is a picture of me and Parker next to the Grinch who stole Christmas.

Here is Parker next to Dr. Seuss and the cat in the hat.

Trick or Treat

Parker just got some cute Halloween pajamas from his Grandma Moeller in the mail, so we are practicing for Halloween now. He is just barely talking and we are teaching him to say Trick or Treat. It sounds more like Tic or Teet, it is cute.

Ladies Fingers

This week I was invited to a girls night out and I had to make a spooky treat, so I made Ladies fingers. The picture doesn't do the fingers justice. In real life they actually really look like witch fingers, they looked horrible. They tasted really good though, I would highly recommend the recipe to anyone who needs a spooky treat this Halloween.
