She is a beautiful stubborn girl who brings much joy into our lives.

I love her blue eyes, curly hair, gap between her 2 front teeth & the dimple in her left cheek when she smiles.

She loves to sing.  I hear her singing songs all the time from the radio or TV that she has only heard once or twice.  She has no favorites, she sings anything from primary songs to Justin Beiber.

Says she is going to marry Santa Clause or Justin Beiber

She loves to laugh and be silly.  When she is mad I can almost always bring a smile to her face by asking her if she has a stinky diaper(she is potty trained so that is why it is so funny to her).

She has the most disgusting habit of chewing/sucking on her blanket to be able to fall asleep.

When she is mad she will yell "I mean at you mommy"

My favorite time to listen to her talk is when she starts her sentence with "One time"

it is usually followed with a confession like:

"One time I hit Kenzie on the head like this."

"One time I colored on the wall."

It is always fun to hear what she has been up to

She is nail biter.

Mason 8 months

Another month has passed in this cute kids life.

At 8 months Mason:

loves to smile & laugh

has the most adorable chubby cheeks

adores his siblings, he spends his days following them around the house playing with them and their toys

One fun thing about having him around is everyone adores him.  No matter how grumpy or mad the other kids get if Mason smiles at them they forget all their worries and play with him

He is tough, now that he can pull himself up on everything he falls and bumps his head and smashes fingers often.  Not to many things make him cry. 

takes 1-2 naps a day

feeds himself finger food and bottles

uses all other food as body paint

can pull himself up to a standing position and walk along furniture

has 2 teeth

will crawl over to me and reach up to me when I hold out my arms to hold him

Still drools enough to soak a beach towel the size of Manhattan each day

Kaitlynn 3

We went to Utah and I have to many pictures to even think about what to blog about.  So, for now I will just post the picture we took of her celebrating her 3rd b-day.  Per her request we went as a family to see Madagascar 3 then afterward I took her to the toy store and let her pick out any 2 things.  She bought a baby that talks and a stroller.  Dolls are her favorite toy.

So Sweet

Parker sneaked into Kaitlynn's room to read her bed time stories.  They read so long they both fell asleep.

Fun Friday

We had a fun day yesterday.  Anthony & I started the fun by rafting down Turkey Creek with some friends.  I am happy to say I did not need my alligator killing knife or a t-shirt (I was told the way to catch an alligator is to sneak up behind it, use the t-shirt to cover its eyes, if you live through that, then use the t-shirt to tie the gators mouth shut after he shuts it) because I had no gator encounters.

We then headed to a carnival.  It had everything the kids loved bounce house, fishing for treats, dunk tank, face painting, followed with fireworks.

This morning I walked upstairs to find Parker had made himself an honorary face painter.  I couldn't tell if he painted tribal war paint or a serious case of the chicken pox on these girls faces, but whatever it was they sure had fun.

Mason 7 Months

Mason had his 6 month appt 1 month late so he has 7 month stats:

Weight: 17 lbs 10 oz

Height:  26.6 inches
Head Circumference: 17.3 Inches

Mason is a drooling machine, he can't even keep his shirt drool free for a 15 minute photo shoot.  He has mastered sitting with no assistance.  He has taught himself how to change from sitting to laying on his belly, and can even push himself up to a sitting position when he wants.

He prefers to spend his leisure time on the floor so he can crawl around and explore.

Has the most adorable melt my heart smile.

Has one tiny little tooth poking up.

He tires of these monthly photo shoots I make him do.

He sleeps 12 hours a night with 2-3 naps a day.

Is so laid back easy going I almost feel guilty talking to other moms with kids his age because he is so easy.

He grabs at everything and puts anything he can touch in his mouth (ie my chin, nose and all the tiny bits of garbabe on the floor).

Although it broke my heart a little to stop breastfeeding, the milk he now drinks is 100% formula.

His favorite foods are carrots, oatmeal and rice cereal.

He is getting good at feeding himself finger foods.

Teacher Parker

 Parker taught his best friend how to ride a bike. Now if I can just get him to teach Kenzie.
