A week of fun = Picture overload

We had so much fun having Anthony's family here for a week. I was worried how 5 adults and 3 kids could squeeze into this tiny 3 bedroom house, but we survived just fine. The week started out real cold and wet. Anthony took his family to Kirtland:

Due to the rain we had to adjust our plans. Instead of eating on the roof at Mississippi Mudds, we ate inside. Then instead of spending the evening walking along the river we walked to the river then turned around and went to our nice warm car.
Luckily the Wii is the perfect entertainment for when it is cold:
They toured Buffalo City Hall:

Then ate lunch at Anchor Bar:
Tuesday we spent the night in Toronto & spent all Wednesday touring the city from our double decker bus. The tour included a boat ride in the Toronto Harbor, it was so foggy we couldn't even see the top of the CN Tower:
We got off and toured this magnificent castle:

It took us at least 15 minutes of climbing stairs to get to the top of these towers. The castle sits on top of the hills overlooking the city, the view was spectacular:

A trip to Niagara Falls isn't complete without stopping at the dare devil museum to see what things people have used to go over the falls in:
Thanks Gary for treating us to dinner at the Sheraton so we could enjoy the view the whole time we ate:
Friday was actually nice weather, we spent the day in Palmyra NY touring the famous church sites. I think what I will miss most about Buffalo is being able to go to Palmyra. I am in awe that I can walk in the same grove where Joseph Smith spoke with God & Jesus.

We also ate at Duffs so they could decide for themselves which place makes the best wings in Buffalo. The verdict is Anchor Bar's spicy bbq wings are the best:
We loved every day of the trip. Our family was so sad to see these 3 amazing guys go. Having family around was priceless. We have loved living in Buffalo; the friends we have made are amazing and there are a lot of fun places to see, but having family close by is something I miss so much.

Dr. Moeller

9 years of school at
6 different schools in
3 different states
all add up to equal
1 Dr. Moeller who is happy to be done with school:
Christian, the person who sat next to Anthony for 4 straight years, going to almost every rotation together.
One proud wife
Proud Dad
Proud brothers.
It took much convincing to get these pictures. Anthony was much more interested in eating at Red Lobster than documenting the day with pictures.

Mother's Day

Mother's Day is definitely a day I look forward to each year. This year I was spoiled with breakfast in bed and lots of extra help from my wonderful husband. Parker had spent the week preparing, and gave me about 20 different pictures & presents. (I also have to thank Parker for the breakfast in bed because, he told Anthony multiple times throughout the week that he needed to make me breakfast in bed). Kenzie was sweet, at church her teacher helped her make a flower for her mom. When church was over she gave the flower to Anthony saying: "because I like Dad the best" If anyone asks her who she loves she says "dad." Ooh she is priceless.

Fire House

I took the girls to the fire station last week with some friends.

They were scared of the fire fighter in his full uniform, but loved pretending to drive the trucks:

Meeting

Parker gets quite creative in his play lately. The other day he gathered 7 chairs, a table, his sisters and some dolls in his room and called a meeting. I am not sure what was the topic of discussion, but I do know I fear a mutiny coming my way soon.

Cute Kate

Today Kaitlynn has kept me quite entertained. I trimmed her bangs this morning and a couple minutes later I heard someone digging in my desk. I came out to find Kaitlynn trying to give herself a trim:Then later I heard her talking to someone, I walked in the room to find her reading a book to Teddy.

Living the Dream

Anthony hasn't even finished Dental school and he is already "living the dream." He spent Saturday with some friends at a golf tournament:
and spends his free time in the basement making matching beds for the girls:
