Welcome to the family Alex

My brother and his fiance' are so much in love they couldn't wait another day to get married, so they eloped in Vegas on May 20th. Last Saturday we threw them a shower. It was lots of fun. Hopefully they enjoy using silverware and plates instead of the paper plates and plastic silverware they were using. Here is a picture of the happy new couple.

Doorbell Ditching

I caught Aunt Marissa teaching Parker to doorbell ditch on video. I can't turn the video so you have to turn you head on its side to watch it.

I've been tagged

1.What where you doing 10 years ago? Loving life, it was the summer before my Senior year in high school. I had a job and great friends.

2. 5 things on my to.do list today... take a shower, go to the bathroom, brush my teeth, get my kids dressed, change many diapers

3. 5 of my fav snacks! Chocolate covered strawberries, chocolate covered raisins, chocolate covered bananas, chocolate covered chocolate and chocolate chip cookie dough

4.What would I do if I suddenly become a billionaire? Keep it under my mattress until my husband was done with dental school and paying back the Air force, then build a house at Lake Powell with a slide that I could ride my jet ski down into the water. I would have Anthony start his practice there. I think it is a great idea, who doesn't have 30 minutes to take a quick trip to the dentist while you are on vacation? He would also keep busy with all those people who jump off cliffs before checking to make sure they won't be jumping on a rock verses water.

5. 3 bad habits- I am always on time, I am never late, and you can always expect me to be there when I say I will be there

6. 5 places I have lived? Utah, Texas, New York, on a house boat in Lake Powell(probably one of my favorite places), and with my sister and brother in law

7. 5 places I have worked? Reds Frozen Ice Cream(there I encountered my first stalker), Shopko(a store in Utah that is a step up from Walmart, and a step down from Target), a secretary at the Department of Workforce Services, a nurses aide, then a nurse

8. 5 things people don't know about me?

I once played the lead part in a murder movie me and my friends made.

I have a little brother who recently eloped in Vegas.

If I had my wish, my next pregnancy would either be twins or triplets. It would also be my last pregnancy.

I am scared of the dark.

I once got in quite a bit of trouble for a thing involving a dry ice bomb. When the bombs went off they were mistaken for guns. When me and my friends were found the driver, of our get a way van, had to exit the van with his hands in the air and a gun pointed at him. I learned many lessons that night.

Absolutely nothing

Yesterday I spent the day singing this song to Anthony: "Hey, what are you good for? Absolutely nothing" because it seemed to be the theme of the day for us. We were trying to get everything ready to go on vacation and no matter what I tried to do, it seemed like I couldn't do it. Like I tried to do my laundry but couldn't because my dryer decided to break. Anthony tried to fix the dryer, but couldn't because all the part's stores were closed. I tried to clean the house but couldn't because Parker kept peeing his pants and I had to keep cleaning him up. Anthony thinks it is a sign that we shouldn't go. I think it is a sign that we should get the heck out of here before something serious happens.

Worst Idea Ever

Today I had Parker stand to pee. When it was happening I was reminded of an out of control fire hose. The result: pee all over the toilet and floor, toilet bowl spotless.

All that worrying for nothing

The surgery took about 15-30 minutes and Parker took it like a champ. He hasn't complained of any pain since he got home, I bet he just feels relieved to have all that pressure off his ears. Parker was back to his normal self not to long after he got home from the hospital.

One of Parkers favorite past times is copying me, when he copies me I often think to myself "Do I really look that silly?" Saturday he put mascara on his face and tried to curl his forehead. Despite what Parker thinks I choose to curl my eyelashes and then put a coat of mascara them, but he is welcome to think I do it his way.

Can't Sleep

Today is the big day, Parker is finally getting tubes in his ears. Anthony and Parker are at the hospital right now. I know it is just a routine surgery, but I feel like it is a big deal because it is my son getting put to sleep. I'll let you know how everything goes.
