Kenzie said "look she is brooming" as she pointed to our neighbor who was sweeping. It makes no sense, if the neighbor had a mop in her hands she would be mopping, so why isn't she brooming with the broom? Even more confusing is how am I supposed to explain it to Kenzie if I don't even know why?

Just say "yep, you're right Kenzie," and leave the complicated explanations to her kindergarten teacher. That's what I do, anyway.
