A busy month

We have been to so many Fall festivals/Fairs/Carnivals this month it isn't funny.  I have learned my kids top 3 requirements to make them happy at a fair:  Face painting
Games with prizes
Bounce house
This carnival took the painting up one notch and offered hair painting.  Although it started in fun, Kenzie's paint turned into a disaster.  That lovely Raggedy Ann Red stayed in her hair for 2 weeks, and I had to scrub her face forever to get that dark red & black ladybug off her face.
Needless to say I am not much a fan for paint anywhere but my walls.  I thought 2 fish were enough, however the kids didn't.  Kenzie won a fish who she named "Pumpkin" & Kaitlynn won a fish, and named it "Nemo".  Nemo only belonged to Kaitlynn for 1 hour before he almost lost his life.  Thankfully, Anthony was able to save him.  Thank goodness Parker takes care of the fish not Kaitlynn.

Mason 11 months

This cute boy is 11 months old.
He:
has perfected walking
loves toilets and finds pleasure in throwing objects in them.  He is slightly picky though, he likes to wait for a brand new roll of toilet paper before throwing it in the toilet.
will climb onto anything he can
can only go up stairs
puts everything he can grab in his mouth
has 3 teeth with 3 more peaking through
has an infectious smile, his laugh could even make the grinch melt

Great minds think alike

The other day Kenzie & Parker both walked out of their room wearing almost the exact same outfit.  Great minds think alike.

Kaitlynn's Surprise

Kaitlynn walked up to me and yelled "Surprise" as she threw her hands in the air.  I turned to see her wearing swim goggles & my high heels.  She makes me laugh everyday.

Fair

We took the kids to the fair.  Kenzie threw darts and won herself a Justin Beiber Picture:
 Kaitlynn loved the elephant ride.
Parker has wanted a pet for years and finally got his wish.  Here are "Mason" and "Buddy" his new pet goldfish.
Mason didn't want us to spend money on him.  All he wanted was for us to stop restraining him in the stroller and grant him freedom.  With that freedom he walked all over with his cute little penguin walk smiling from ear to ear.  This picture wasn't taken at the fair; however, I had to take it.  I can't believe he is small enough to squeeze into my lazy susan.

Mason

Good thing this kid is cute, or his game called "Throw everything down the stairs" would get old, fast.

Rain

There is something magical about playing in the rain.  My kids share happily.
It makes them dance.
It makes them smile.
