A little offended

Tonight Kaitlynn fell down and scraped herself  on her knee and toe.  I took her into the bathroom to clean it up.  She told me I need to wash it and put a band-aid on it, then asked "Do you know how to do that?"  It hurt a little.  Utah, Texas, and New York all agreed that I was smart and knowledgeable enough to work as a Registered Nurse but my 3 year old doesn't think I can do it.

Coolest Dad

Just in case you have been wondering who the coolest dad ever is, it is Anthony.  He designed and built this tree house on his own.  This is only phase one of the project he still plans to add a trap door and other fun stuff to keep the kids busy.  The kids love it.

McKenzie is so fun to shop with

Saturday I took Kenzie shopping.  All she needed was shoes.  When we got home I realized she had talked me into buying her a new dress, hat, hello kitty chap stick, socks, flip flops, and ooh yeah the shoes.  Next time I am leaving the credit card home and only taking enough cash for shoes.  She is good.

Parker's PJ's

I decided to wash all the kids pajamas and didn't get them back in the kids drawers before bedtime.    Since Parker couldn't find his only pajama shorts he decided to improvise and rolled his pajama pants up to make his own shorts.  How could I not take a picture of that.

Parker

Parker is a shy kid so I love when his confidence shows through.  Like today, when he responded to a question with this response:  "I found out because 3 plus 3 is easy."   

Mason 9 Months

At 9 months old this cute kid only has 2 teeth but can eat tons of food.  He doesn't care if I am giving him quesadillas or crackers he is not picky he just wants me to keep the food coming.  He has the most adorable laugh and is super ticklish.  If he is fussy I can get him to laugh in half a second.  He absolutely loves being outside, whenever I am holding him and walk up to a door he starts smiling and jumping in excitement because he can't wait to get on the other side.  He loves to follow his siblings around the house destroying everything in his path.  His favorite past times are unrolling the toilet paper and dumping every toy out of its bin & emptying every drawer/cupboard he comes in contact with.  A couple things I never want to forget are his crawl.  He doesn't like letting his knees touch the floor.

He is my little shadow.  I love looking over and seeing him coming to investigate what I am doing.

He hates not knowing what is going on.  If someone is in the bathroom he crawls up to the door and tries to peek under.  I love seeing his little fingers poke under the door.

He loves to walk along things and will occasionally take steps.  He is a joy.

Kenzie can pump

This stubborn girl has refused to try to pump on a swing for the longest time.  Today she perfected it.

It only took 5 minutes in the backyard with her teacher and she was a pro.
