Like Father Like Son

Don't Anthony and his dad look so much alike? Who better for Anthony to be like than his dad? We have been living with Anthony's parents for the past 5 weeks and the longer we are here the more I notice how much Anthony is like his dad Gary. Gary is one of the most self-less, hard working, men I know, he is amazing, and I am lucky my husband is as great as him.

New Mexico

Another vacation while we are on vacation. Last weekend my parents took us to visit my brother Shon and his family in New Mexico. We had lots of fun. While we were there we went to a rodeo and my nephew Bryce learned how to use a cowboy rope.

Kenzie learned how to sit. I think it is kind of funny she leaned to crawl before she could sit.

Juli and Sarah braved the zip line

Parker and Caleb had a bubble blowing contest
(Anthony, my mom and dad are behind them)

Emily got dunked in the dunk tank

Kenzie got some quality time with Grandma. My favorite memory of the trip was while we were playing Cranium. Boys against girls. It was a close game. The girls were up, and my mom was chosen to draw an item on a pad of paper with her eyes closed and we had to guess what she was drawing. Mom grabs the paper, pencil, closes her eyes and says she is ready, so start the timer. A couple seconds later she opens her eyes and remembers she forgot to read the card to see what she is supposed to be drawing.

Juli and Caleb, aren't they precious?

Parker averaged popping 100 bubbles a minute, then dominated the soccer field.

Girls, food and sleeping in

Since I graduated me and 6 of my good friends go on a girls trip ever year. Spouses are restricted and children are welcome. However, we all try to arrange for the children to be watched so we can have a weekend with just the girls. This year we went to Lava Hot Springs. We had so much fun. We spent our time riding down the river,

eating, talking

eating, talking

playing in the water,

eating some more and talking some more
What a good lookn' group.

4th of July

We started our 4th of July out with a program and breakfast at the Midway Town Hall. Grandma Lisa is a bell ringer and performed during the program. After the program she let Kenzie and Parker ring her bell.
Here are the 1st place and 2nd place champions of the Moeller Family Ping Pong tournament.

Everyone but Grandma Lisa had to participate in the tournament. Here is an action shot of Marissa and Annamarie .The boys had a treasure hunt to find their fireworks.
Aunt Marissa is letting Kenzie taste homemade ice cream for the first time. Kenzie loved it.
Parker loved the sparklers.
Here is Eric helping the boys light the sparklers, Annamarie supervising and Parker and Jaron running around.
We ended the night with a nice firework display put on by Marissa and Eric. Parker loved every minute of his fun filled day.

So much fun

Last week we went with Anthony's family to the Zoo.
Here is:

Everyone on the train

Kenzie and me riding the train

Kenzie full of smiles just living being pushed around. Everyone on the carousel.

We went camping for a night at Strawberry. It was lots of fun. Here are Parker and Grandpa sharing some cookies.
Wednesday we went to Lagoon. Anthony and I have such wonderful families it has been so fun spending time with everyone. Here is Anthony, me, Annamarie, and Eric on the roller coaster.

Welcome to the family Alex

My brother and his fiance' are so much in love they couldn't wait another day to get married, so they eloped in Vegas on May 20th. Last Saturday we threw them a shower. It was lots of fun. Hopefully they enjoy using silverware and plates instead of the paper plates and plastic silverware they were using. Here is a picture of the happy new couple.
