Friends

McKenzie and Piper are so stinkn' cute together. They play so well, life is always easier if Piper gets to come over and play.
I love this picture it makes me wonder what kind of trouble they were trying to think up together. They occasionally get into mischief together. At Piper's birthday these 2 were found in the play room unwrapping Piper's presents.

Bad choice

Kenzie and Parker were playing outside together. I heard a bang, followed by Kenzie screaming. As I ran outside to see what happened, Kenzie was crying hysterically, and had a big red mark down the center of her forehead. Between sobs she explained "I thought it was a good choice to jump down the stairs (she jumped down the 6 stairs on our deck, slamming her face into the railing) but it was a bad choice".

My Kids are growing

I feel like my kids are still young, but they keep surprising me with their comments. My 3 year old Kenzie recently asked for an iPad & her favorite show is iCarly. Parker who is 5 thinks he needs a cell phone.

Halloween

Ooh, how we love Halloween.
Here we are at a party at Anthony's work
Anthony & I dressed as skeletons. Under the baby hand prints on my shirt it says "LET ME OUT" Sometimes I wonder who wants the baby out most me, who is completely uncomfortable or this baby who is stuck in a bunch of water with nothing to do but kick and get the hick-ups all day.
Parker chose to be a pirate this year. I love the facial hair. When we were eating dinner he got food in it.
Kenzie went as a ladybug to our church party, then changed her outfit to an alligator for Halloween night.
Kaitlynn went as a cowgirl. She could "yee-haw" like only the best cowgirls can. They had a blast trick-or-treating with their best friends the Davis'. The 2 things that made me laugh were both done by Kaitlynn and her friend Piper:

At houses where people just left candy out so you could take a piece, all the kids would take one piece then run to the next house. Kaitlynn & Piper just stood at the candy bowl taking piece after piece with no intention of leaving.

At one house the porch light was on so the kids all went up yelled trick-or-treat and rang the doorbell. After about 2 minutes it was obvious no one was going to come to the door. We told the kids to go to the next house. Everyone listened except Kaitlynn & Piper who stood there taking turns ringing the door bell, determined to get candy. I think they rang the doorbell at least 30 times before we realized what they were doing.

Here is Kenzie with her 2 good friends from church.
Halloween wouldn't be complete without doughnut on a string

Pumpkin Patch

While Anthony and Parker were off shooting guns, I took the girls to a pumpkin patch. It was the smallest pumpkin patch I have ever been to, but it was the perfect size for the girls.
How cute are they with their pumpkins:

Kaitlynn is 2

Kaitlynn turned 2 years old during a crazy time in our life. Please pretend for a minute that I am not almost 3 months late in posting about her turning 2. At 2 years old Kaitlynn weighs 26 lbs and is 33 inches tall:
After the first 20 minutes of pictures she refused to smile unless I was holding her, but Emily was able to still get some good shots:
I love her curly hair and the gap in her teeth(that she got from her dad).
I also love that cute little dimple

She is potty trained.
She has a 4 year old vocabulary with the mind of a 2 year old which causes lots of trouble. She knows and says exactly what she wants, but can't understand why some requests are impossible to grant.
In 1 second she can change her attitude from sweet girl to uncontrollable tantrum.
Loves to laugh.
Has a gorgeous smile and beautiful blue eyes.
She is a mamma's girl.
She loves to color, read books, watch cartoons, and play dolls with Kenzie.
She is very mischievous. I often find her breaking things or using soap, toothpaste, or something else messy to paint my walls, floor or her body.
Sleeps in a big bed.
Can't sleep unless she has her brown & pink blanket to suck on.
My favorite thing she says is "huh, what you say mom?"
She calls Parker "kaka" and herself "Kate baba"
She will repeat herself 100 times until you acknowledge what she has said.
She is very possessive, if I am holding another kid she walks up to me pushes the kid and says "that's my momma"
She is a joy to be around.
