Anthony had to go to San Antonio for 2 weeks to take a class. Parker was off from school for 1 of the weeks so we packed up the car and joined Anthony in Texas. It was the perfect Spring Break. Me and the kids slept in, played a little then meet Anthony for lunch, we picked Anthony up from his class each evening then headed off to do something fun. The hotel on base was so nice it was big enough to fit our family of 6 plus had a playground and picnic area just outside the door.
Texas was just like it was when we lived there 5 years ago. What hasn't changed:Every 3rd vehicle on the road is a truck.
Texas flags everywhere.
Everything from flower beds to chips are made in the shape of Texas.
8 lane freeways.
Bluebonnets in full bloom.
Like my friend Tim Rushlow says "God bless Texas"

I love Texas. Your little Mason is getting so big so fast! And your other kiddos too. I wish we could have joined you guys at Disneyworld - maybe another time!
