I've had better days

After 32 years of living I can honestly say today was the worst Sacrament Meeting I have sat through.  While sitting in the chapel today this adorable little girl turned to me with her hands on her mouth and said "Mom I am throwing up"
She then proceeded to do just as promised.  Lucky for Anthony's cat like reflexes, he grabbed a bag for her to throw up in.  Unfortunately that bag was still full of coloring books and other fun things to entertain the kids.  Pretty sure next week when we sit down in the chapel the seats all around us will quickly clear out.

Mason's Manners

Last night our wonderful friends watched our kids while Anthony and I went on a date.  When my friend Emily started cooking dinner Mason pulled up a chair at the table then sat down ready to eat.  When Mason was done with dinner he got down, grabbed his paper plate, then walked to the sink and threw his plate in it.  At 17 months I am very impressed with the manners he has.

A special bond

I feel like every time I turn around Kenzie is doing something sweet for Mason:

15 Months (2 months late)

Mason is the busiest and most adorable kid.  At 15 months:
31 inches tall
26 lbs
He has the most adorable big brown eyes
He can bark like a dog.
Plays peek-a-boo
Knows some sign language
Favorite song is itsy bitsy spider
He can clap, give anyone five, dance.
Says: mom, dad, car, ball, all done, bye, hi
He may be 1 but he thinks he is as big as his siblings.  If they are riding bikes, he is.  If they are eating he is.  He prefers a chair instead of high chair and cup instead of sippy cup.  He wants to be just like the big kids.
Each of the kids (and parents) adore him and will give him almost anything he wants.
Gets a binky only to sleep and during church.
Can throw a tantrum like the best of them.

McKenzie

I know I am a little bias because I am her mom, but isn't McKenzie beautiful?

Parker is 7

At 7 years old Parker weighs 58lbs and is 52" tall.
A couple things about him:
  • not so shy any more
  • loves art (he is constantly creating, painting, coloring) & is good at it
  • great listener
  • content to play in his room with his toys for hours
  • knows a ton about the gospel
  •  When Anthony asks questions about scriptures Parker always knows the answers.
  • He is a great kid.  I am so glad he is in my life.

A mustache and Easter

I consider myself lucky to have been married 10 years and this is the first time Anthony has joined the March Mustache crowd and grown a mustache.  Of course since he is in the military he was pretty limited on the style, but as you can see he grows a good 'stache.

The kids all had fun coloring eggs.  Mason did more smashing then coloring but he still enjoyed himself:
The kids all had fun hunting for eggs with friends
Mason was adorable to watch.  He loved the candy.
I love his huge belly.
