Parker's tooth

Today Parker told Anthony his tooth was bothering him, and asked him to take it out. Anthony went to his tool box grabbed his needle nose pliers and cleaned them off, then with one quick yank the tooth was out. Parker said "ouch dad, that really hurt" Anthony gave him some ibuprofen and Parker walked away a happy man. I am still in shock at Parker's bravery, I think almost every other kid would have run the other way when their dad walked up to them ready to pull out a tooth.

Kenzie

There are 2 words in Kenzie's vocabulary she can never say right. No matter how many times I correct and coach her she always refers to:

elevator as alligator
tomatoes as pomatoes

I laugh every time she asks if we can take the alligator to get upstairs.

What I love about Mason

His double chin:
He is always in the same spot I left him, just waiting patiently for me to hold him:
Watching him wake-up. I love his little yawn:

Mason 1 Month

This cute boy is 1 Month old. Here are some pictures from Anthony and I's amateur photo shoot:

This last one isn't the cutest, but I love his rolls and wanted to show them to the world. In only 1 months time Mason has grown 2 inches and gained 3 lbs. He is already wearing size 2 diapers and 3 Month old clothing. He is a champ at breastfeeding here is the proof:

Merry Christmas

PJ's

A week after delivering Mason my C-section went bad. The sight is still open and draining. Normal pants hit right where the sight is, so whenever I am home I change into my yoga pants. My girls see me always wearing my pajamas, so they have started wearing theirs all the time as well. The other day I went to pick up the girls from a play date, when I walked in the house McKenzie, Kaitlynn and their friend Piper were all in pajamas. I think it might be time to suck it up and start wearing clothes everyday again so they don't think it is okay to wear pajamas all day every day.

Mason & Kenzie

McKenzie is an amazing big sister to Mason. She loves him so much it is adorable. When I am busy and have to let Mason cry longer than she likes, she always goes over and calms him down. Mason still hasn't mastered holding the binky in his mouth so Kenzie will sit holding it until he can finally get it to stay in. Kenzie is scared of the dark, and refuses to go downstairs at night to get anything. The other night she faced her fear for Mason. Mason was crying, Kenzie went to help him and she noticed his binky wasn't upstairs so she(without being asked, and without even knowing I was watching) went downstairs found the binky and brought it to him. She melted my heart it was the sweetest thing I have every seen.
