Parker

Parker saw a horse being born live on T.V., no editing occurred. I asked him what he thought, he looked at me and said "That horse came out of it's mom's bum."

Kaitlynn

Every now and then it warms up so we get to play outside. Kaitlynn is the queen of finding nasty things. She is constantly bringing me rabbit poop, and other not so pleasant things she finds on the ground. Sometimes she just eats it instead of bringing them to me, I can't decide which is worse.

Flat Jacob

My sister and her family recently relocated to Singapore. Her son Jacob wanted to come visit my kids so he was recreated into a flat version and mailed to us.
The kids have enjoyed having him around:

He is a good listener and makes little to no mess:

Mr. Mike

Last week my Uncle Mike was in town for business, and we were lucky enough to have him stay with us. It was so fun to have him here, I thought it was funny/cute my kids called him Mr. Mike. I had fun showing him what makes Buffalo, Buffalo.
Tara I hope you enjoy those Wegmans O's, Anthony and I think they absorb milk almost perfectly and we like them even better than real Oreo's, enjoy.

Favorite Things

I went to a "Favorite Things" party where I got to hang out with some of my favorite friends:
Megan threw this amazing party, we each brought one of our favorite things (cutting board, cleaner, chapstick, food, etc.) to give to someone in exchange for their favorite thing. We ate our favorite things while we made a cute craft. Here are everyone's favorite things:
How cute are these cups:The food was absolutely delicious:
The decorations adorable:

Parker 5 Year Stats

I took Parker to the doctors and at 5 years old this kid:
Weighs 47 lbs
Is 3' 10" tall
He is turning out to be a tall slender boy

He is full of smiles, and a very happy kid.
He is an expert at finding all the things that are hidden in Where's Waldo books.
He has memorized the first 5 Articles of Faith.
Parker loves to build/create. He spends his days building forts, train tracks, and lego creations. With just some paper & a stapler he can make anything from a hat to a boat.
He loves to color.
Now that he knows his letters his coloring pages are covered in words (some real words, some made up words).
He is a good listener and helper.
He is so independent he can open house doors, car doors, turn on & off lights, clean up small messes and even use the computer with no help.
His best friends are Weston, Emma & Owen.
He talks constantly to me, but unless he knows you really well the most he will usually say is "hi" "thank you" or give you a smile.
He no longer has any hearing issues, and has both tubes out of his ears.
He gets speech 3 times a week and after 3 years of speech adults are able to understand most of what he has to say.
At school his teacher often uses him as an example as to what the other kids should be doing.
He is a nurturer, he is aware of people and there feelings.
He loves to eat healthy food. I have to buy 1 quart of tomatoes every time I go to the store because he eats them like candy.

16 cushions

Our couch has 16 cushions. I love it and hate it, almost ever day Parker builds something that takes up my whole living room with the cushions. I am always impressed with his creations, but dread the process of getting all 16 cushions put back where they belong.
