What they think we do

The other day Anthony and I walked in our room to find our kids pretending to be us:

Parker pretended to be Anthony studying

Kenzie pretended to be me, she was trying on all my shoes to see which one went best with her outfit.

New Supervisor

Being a mom is a tough job, but I recently got a new supervisor that makes work tons more fun. Little Kaitlynn loves to sit in her Bumbo and supervise me all day long. I enjoy her so much she never criticizes and smiles with approval at everything I do.
Here she is supervising me while I eat breakfast.

While I check my email
While I wash the dishes and make all the meals
The only thing that is not so fun is when Kaitlynn's supervisors show-up. They are not so pleased with everything I do and have no trouble telling me what I am doing wrong.

Thanksgiving

I am thankful that we got to spend Thanksgiving with my family and for cameras so I don't have to write much.
My parents, sister-in-law Alex, Maddie Parker, and Kaitlynn
My parents took the kids geocachingMy dad had the kids fish for toys from the 2nd floor. Here are the boys showing off their loot.
Worlds best mom with worlds best baby
Parker showing off his turkey made of junk food
Kenzie was quick, she made and ate her turkey in 10 minutes flat.
We had a competition to see who could make the best looking turkey out of Junk Food. Anthony and I were both in it to win it, but when the votes were revealed I lost. I still like mine better, I am convinced if I put my turkey on a turkey farm no one would even notice, it looked that good.
Anthony was nice to give my uninsured brother a cleaning.

My brother is from the future

My older brother and his wonderful family moved to Australia a couple months ago. I got to talk to him the other night and it was so weird I was talking to him Friday night, but for him it was Saturday afternoon. It was fun to get to talk to him, but the whole time I wanted to ask him questions like: are there any stocks I should buy?(since he is a day ahead of me he could tell me what would happen before it happens and I could make millions quick), should Anthony go to school tomorrow (maybe a plane will crash into the dental school). I know he isn't really from the future, but really isn't he? The coolest thing is the uniforms kids will be wearing in the future.

Kaitlynn 4 months

Kaitlynn is now 4 months old.
Weight: 13lbs 11oz
Height: 24.75 inches
She is happy, healthy, rolling from side to side, likes to sit in Bumbo, sleeps 9 hours straight, smiles all the time and is the perfect baby.
Note to self: next time take pictures before going to the doctor and getting shots. She is normally nothing but smiles, not for this photo shoot.

Not exactly as planned

Today I had a fun, productive day planned for me and the kids. So far nothing has really gone as planned.

2:30 a.m. my day starts with Parker crying because he has thrown-up all over his bed.
3:00 a.m. more crying, more throw-up more dirty sheets
5:00 a.m. Kaitlynn ready for something to eat
7:30 everyone up for the day
10:00 2 men here to give me a new fridge (yesterday mine broke) I empty out everything from the fridge and freezer covering the counters in food.
10:30 start cleaning up the nastiness left from the old fridge and put everything back in its proper space but not finishing the job before having to leave and take the kids to the doctor. I left the house a disaster.
11:00 lucky for me my husband is amazing and was able to come home and stay with sick Parker while I take Kenzie and Kaitlylnn to the doctors for shots.
12:10 leave the doctor's office with 1 screaming girl in each arm (thinking to myself: today maybe would be a good day to start drinking:)
12:30 Come home to an immaculately clean house. All the food in the fridge, freezer and all the stuff put back on top, and on the fridge. Freshly vacuumed house (the trail of nasty under the fridge gunk that the nice fridge men left as a remembrance of the old non working fridge no longer present). Dirty sheets from the night before nicely folded and ready for me to put away.
Kitchen swept and mopped.

Now because of Anthony I can put the kids all down for there naps and go take a nap myself instead of spending the time cleaning the disaster. Oooh yeah while at the doctors Anthony also found time to de-fuzz one of my sweaters that very much needed it. Isn't he amazing:)
