Toronto

I don't think an appliance(wheat grinder) qualifies as a present, so this weekend I got my real b-day present. Me, Anthony and Kaitlynn took a road trip to Toronto.
We got to see tons of fun things.
We took a Trolley ride of the city and got to see everything, while staying warm.
Anthony and Kaitlynn in front of the C.N. Tower the second tallest man made structure in the world.
Thanks to Melanie who was so wonderful to watch my kids even though she was already watching Erica's two girls since Erica was in the hospital having a baby. Parker and McKenzie had so much fun we had to drag them from Melanie's house screaming and they didn't stop crying for 30 minutes.

My 29th year

I had a great birthday this past week. It started with breakfast in bed. The day was nearly perfect I didn't cook a meal, I got lots of calls, emails and presents, from everyone, I felt so loved.

You might think I am old, but I am still in my twenties and feeln' good.
While in my twenties I have:
Seen Bill Cosby, and Regis and Kelly live
Got a degree and worked as a nurse
Got married
Had 3 kids
Changed careers (from nurse to mom)
Changed at least 2 million diapers
Ran from a hurricane
Learned how to make everything there is to accessorize a girl (that is right I said everything, you name it I can make it: hair bow, bracelet, necklace, tutu, etc)
Been to NYC
Been in the White House
Saw Jack Dawson's grave(the guy in Titanic)
Peed in an airplane bathroom while 8 months pregnant with 2 kids in the bathroom with me
Learned to cook without a recipe

I have done a lot, and I still have one more year in my twenties. Stay tuned to see what other amazing things I accomplish while being so young.P.S. I got a wheat grinder for my b-day, can you tell how excited I am?

Goodbye Halloween

It came and it went and we loved every minute of it.
Here is the family shot:
Anthony: disco man
Kristie: Mummy(in a not so functional costume, turns out crepe paper rips when you move, and I hated having stuff on my face so I ripped the crepe paper off before the picture). Next year I'll do better.
Kids: zoo animals
We did so much stuff this past month to celebrate Halloween:
Dressed up many times

Had the house covered in spiderwebs
Preschool Halloween Party with a skeleton treasure hunt and homemade root beer:
A spider so big it almost ate Parker
Anthony found a good use for his $100 skull he bought to help him study
Craft, after craft, after craft
And lots of parties with our friends.
I think I know why I am sick, we did a little to much last week and it is finally catching up to me.

Crocodile meets Captain Hook

Despite Parker's threat it turned out that the Crocodile and Captain Hook actually get along quite well.
